I was quite into psychedlia at this point in my life and I guess this piece reflects that. There were definitely a few artists from the 60s era that influenced the style and content – Victor Moscoso is one that springs to mind.

I used to love using Rotring pens for this kind of work, mainly for the ink – the blackest blacks you could ever hope for. On the second pic you can see some guide dots where I was going to draw something else then changed my mind. Actually I think I forgot what I was doing and fucked up. Either way they’re there!
